I got the laundry washed and out on the line! Not really, I used the dryer.*snicker*
I love this digi image by A Day for Daisies called 'Sundays Wash'. It brings to mind a simpler, slower summertime from way, way back. Way, way, waaaaaay back! I'll leave it at that.....
I also printed a sentiment by Raindrop Echo Designs that I thought would work. Does it work? Do you see how it connects to the clothes on the line? Is it too obtuse? I'm curious, so tell me!!
I printed the image on watercolor paper and used Distress inks to color it. I sponged Distress inks around the edge of the image for sky.
The background paper is a technique from the Technique Junkie Newsletter called 'Antiqued Glimmers'. It is a really easy technique that I need to do a lot more! It just uses Glimmer Mists and Distress inks. And some cardstock of course. The end result is an artsy glimmering background. Oh, you can't see the glimmer (its the camera's fault), so I will tell you it has a gold sparkly cast on the entire background.
