Homemade Wedding Boutonnieres and Corsages

We have a wedding coming up in the family pretty soon.  In order to save money, I have been tasked with making all the floral decorations.
Yay!  I love doing stuff with florals!

My next few blog posts will probably be about the different items I have made for the wedding.
I know I enjoy seeing things like this, even before I had a wedding coming up. So, I'm going to share what I have done.

We wanted rather minimalist Boutonnieres and Corsages and this is what I came up with:
Just a simple rose for the guys and not much more for the ladies.

What's Life.....

Hi all.  By the looks of my title one might think this is going to be a heavy topic.
No, no no!

I have a silly card to show that showcases a new rubber stamp by Whipper Snapper Designs.
The image is called 'Snow Diva' and you can find her here.

This snowlady is all styled out!  Wouldn't she be fun to make?
Either with real snow or as a cute winter decoration!

The sentiment is by I Brake for Stamps.
I used papers by Crate Papers - "Snow Day" collection and by Belle Blvd - "Sophisticates".

So silly

I finally got around to looking at my copy of Just Cards magazine.

Imagine my surprise to find a second card of mine in there!!
Really observant, aren't I?!!

To my defense, the picture is not the greatest and the color is off.

See, you can't even tell that is a ribbon rose on there!

I had a good laugh to see I had missed my own card being in there.
Thanks for Looking!

Surprise Publishing

Just Cards! is about to come out, or is at your local store.  Over a year and a half ago I sent them two or three cards.

One was finally published a few months (half a year??) ago. I was happily surprised then, just as I am now.

It has been so long since I bothered to submit cards that I have no idea what I have sent them.

If I do say so myself, I think it is a darn cute card (below) that I made with one of Dustin Pike's cute digital images.
Looks better in real life!!
I hope to find time to be blogging again real soon, as I have some wedding flowers I have made for my son's pending wedding I want to show off.  Stay tuned!!
