DYSU First Challenge

How exciting!  The new challenge blog Do You Stack Up? (DYSU) opens today with their first challenge.  You need to scoot right on over there because 13 companies are sponsoring this first challenge.  That means lots of fabulous prizes are going to be given away. WOW!  You know you want to get in on that.
The company that gave the Design Team images to work with is Di's Digi Designs.

I have been so impressed with the quality and CUTEness of all the images on Di's site.  Every one of them is a delight!  Wait until you see what everyone has created with her images.  You don't need to wait, just get over to DYSU to see them all.

The first challenge is Cute as a BUTTON.  Make some new project with one or more buttons on it and enter it on DYSU.  So easy, right?

All skill levels are welcomed.  In fact we WANT all of you timid crafters and newbies. Participating in challenges is the fastest way to bump up your skill level.
Okay, this is finally the time I get to show the card I made for this challenge.

I chose Penguins Playtime from Di's Digi Designs.  It is so cute!  Don't you think so?

I am very happy with the way this card f i n a l l y turned out.  My creative process is usually a slow one. Sometimes I just don't have the patience.  It took several days to get to this point. That's just the way it is sometimes.

The sentiment is by Raindrop Echo Designs.  Its a beautiful quote and there are many more at Raindrop Echo.

The design paper I used was from a glitter stack of DCWV.  To coordinate with that, I painted a piece of chipboard with silver metallic paint and topped it with silver glitter paint.  Then I cut the border piece out of it and the snowflake.  This small picture gives a better view of all the sparkle.
