I'm back!

Boy, did I drop off the face of blog-land!  I took a couple of months off for my son's wedding and the holidays. Now that things have calmed down I think I can get back to card-making.  If I remember how to do it!!
Designed2Delight has a challenge starting today over at the blog. The challenge is winter flowers.

I'm not sure my flowers are "winter flowers", but I wanted to use this image of an owl called 'Lovely Day' and these ribbon flowers seem to go well. I made the ribbon flowers by twisting ribbon a round and around. Fun!

I used Prismacolor pencils on the owl and chose not to blend with OMS.I was trying for a feather-like look.  (failed) Guess I'm out of practice!

Challenges I'm entering:
Stamp-N-Doodle - Anything goes
Top Tip Tuesday - #67 Anything Goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty - #70 birds
House of Gilli - Anything Goes
Stamps R Us - Anything Goes
The Pink Elephant - Anything Goes
Crafty Emma's Store - Anything Goes
Catch the Bug -  Anything Goes

Thanks for dropping by, and I will be posting more regularly in the future.
